Same procedure like in 2013 – I was going to give lectures and a key note speach about systemic vision work at this the scientific systemic congress in Berlin 2015, in October.
In 2013, I was asked to give a lecture about my vision working method for the 13th yearly scientific congress of the official scientific German Systemic Association DGSF, held in Berlin’s Humboldt University with over 1.000 participants. In 2015, it was to be held at another (spectacular) place in Mitte, Stadtbad Oderberger and GLS Campus Berlin, and was herein limited to only 300 congress participants. Anyways, it’s always nice for me to speak about my work.
I admit, it’s not that easy to understand what exactly we are doing: A socio-cultural intervention, being a fake jury at an international film festival? „Aren’t you guys just joking? What do you expect us to believe?“ (serbian tv)
Well, that is actually all what it is about: What you should, would or want to believe. There are 3 people from Ireland, Spain and Germany, tellig you they are the jury of this international short film festival in Banja Luka. They have a very complicated new point system, that no one understands and every film has to undergo. These 3 jury members discuss via Facebook channel („almost live“) about all the films in competition in a strange, somehow pseudo-intellectual way. In the end, there’s suddenly a winner from Brazil that was never even discussed before.
It was great fun to sensitise and raise everybody’s awareness about us three and what we are claiming to be. Thank you guys, next year, we might come back with a different project, after you got us now, in the end… 🙂
During our social-cultural intervention in Palestine, we had to change our improvised office place quite often. From Jenin, we had to move immediately to Ramallah after the murder of Juliano Mer Khamis, my good friend. The workshop had to be aborted, in April 2011, we moved to a monks place, between Ramallah and Birzeit.
One year later, another series of office moves happened. After we finished our seminar in Bethlehem, we moved for a couple of days to Al Bireh in order to get the post production of 6 cinema short films started. Here, we are at our impovised office place, working on the films of „My Palestine“. There was no heater and outside we had winter, meanwhile. But the smile did not vanish from our faces, the results after only 12 days intervention were amazing: 6 short films in cinema 2K resolution with an exciting spirit, we felt from the beginning, here was something great developing…
April 2013 – Another collection of short films about the „Great Transformation“, on behalf of Germanwatch e.V. & Brot für die Welt, is now ready for distribution: 2.000 DVDs, including our award winning short film „What Am I?“, had just left the factory and are now on their way to Bonn, just in time for the German Protestant Kirchentag. Mission accomplished.

We showed our visionary talent when giving our film prize „1st European Vision Award“ as special fake jury at the Kratkofil International Film Festival in 2013 to Gabriel Garcia from that country that was going to organize the football world cup in 2014… We’re convinced, that this was a first impact to the system of coincidences that enabled Germany to become the winner of that world cup one year later. Joke.
